OUR POLICIES FOR VINTAGE RENTALS 

 

All charges are for time out, whether used or not. Rental fee does not include delivery or set up.  

 

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

A  50%deposit is required to reserve the date as well as the vintage rentals. The remaining balance. IS DUE 30 DAYS BEFORE YOUR EVENT. Your items are not reserved without the deposit paid. Final payment is due one month prior to the event. The client agrees to pay a 50% deposit which is a non-refundable fee. This fee will be deducted from your final total, but is non refundable upon cancellation. This payment serves as a retainer and is due at time of contract signature.   Changes must be made no later than 30 days prior to the event. No changes made week of pickup/delivery.  In the event of a cancellation: If you cancel 60 or more days before your event you will be refunded half of your final total (minus the non refundable deposit amount). If you cancel 59 days or fewer before your event there will be no refund.  

We do not refund money due to inclement weather. Please have a rain plan.

COVID-19 Policy:

In such uncertain times it is difficult to plan gatherings. With this is mind, if you book with us and your event is impacted due to Covid-19 government issued mandates, we will allow you up to one year from event date to reschedule your events provided your rentals are available on your new date. If they are not, you may have a credit toward the rental of other items. We will not refund your deposit. If you choose not to re-book, the deposit remains non refundable. We allow one re-booking. If you choose to rebook multiple times due to Covid we will charge a re-booking fee each occurrence.

This rescheduling policy is applied to Venue, vintage rentals as well as floral*.

*Your event must be rescheduled before the flower order has been placed which is 2 weeks prior to event date.

 

DELIVERY: 

Delivery is available for a fee. Delivery fees vary on amount rented and distance traveled. We deliver to Asheville and surrounding areas up to 40 miles. (We do make exceptions based on availability). We would consider out of town service upon consultation. We provided containers for your China, Silver, etc., to ensure that you receive your items undamaged and ready for set up .  We will place items in an designated area.  If you need a additional set up help, such as ceremony chairs, tableware set up and other styling services we can do that for an additional fee.

If Picking up from our warehouse or returning a rental to our warehouse, the time will be discussed per contract.  Pick up and Drop Off times MUST be pre-arranged before your event. We do not keep shop hours. WE are by appointment only.  We do charge a pick up fee. Thank you!

 CLEANING AND CARE: 

All China, Silver, Utensils, etc., should be scraped and rinsed, food free and put back in the same containers as delivered in. We are not responsible for collecting these items upon pick up. All items rented must be repackaged as they were rented. I.E. Plates rinsed and placed back in crates, drink ware emptied and put back in crate, flatware rinsed and put back in bin.
Tables and chairs should be ready for pick up and left under cover. Furniture and Rugs may not be left out over night. Rugs may not be placed on wet ground without a tarp underneath. If we return for pick up and find furniture left in the elements there will be an additional damage charge.

LOSS OR DAMAGE:

 

Responsibility for rentals remains with the lessee from time of delivery/pick up to time of return. Please make sure all rentals are secure when not in use and protected from the weather. We DO charge for stained, broken, weathered and missing items. A replacement cost of three times the rental amount is charged for broken items or missing items in most cases. Certain items are priced higher. 

 

CLEANING

 

All dishes, glassware, flatware, must be rinsed cleaned, before returning. Please wipe down any tables, chairs, or accessories before pickup or drop off.

No wax is to be left on candlesticks or there will be a cleaning fee issued.


50% is due now to hold rental items. The remaining payment will be due 30 days prior to the event.  

Payments may be made via cash, check, major credit card or PayPal. Make checks payable to
